I have always been fascinated in makeup and how it can completely transform someones physical appearence and even their behaviour, and due to a change in personal circumstances in 2013, I was able to explore this fascination further.  It is now my absolute passion.

I began my training at DFMA in Bournemouth, where in 2013 I completed a one week Foundation in Fashion Makeup course.  In January 2014 I completed a five week course in Makeup and Hair for TV, Film and Theatre, also at DFMA.  Later in 2014, a need to build on what I had learned and to broaden my knowledge saw me complete a 7 week Creative and Characted Makeup Course under Danny-Marie Elias at Gorton Studios in Falmouth.  In 2015,  wanting to learn more about prosthetics and mold making, I completed a 7 week Makeup, FX and Prosthetics Creation course at Gorton Studios in Aylesbury under the tutelage of Stuart Conran.

 

I now freelance as a tutor for DFMA at their various locations around the uk which still gives me the freedom to continue with my much loved film work.
